Summary

Our client, a reputable and forward-thinking automotive workshop in Leicester, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician. This role offers a competitive basic salary of £37,639, with an on-target earnings (OTE) of £43,639. The position involves a 42.5-hour workweek, with overtime paid at time and a half. The successful individual will have the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of predominantly light commercial vehicles while benefiting from ongoing training, excellent benefits, and career development prospects.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Performing servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a varied fleet of vehicles

- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently

- Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and legal compliance standards

- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety procedures

- Supporting workshop productivity and vehicle turnaround times

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

- At least 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician

- Strong diagnostic and repair skills

- Experience working on light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential

- Full UK Driving Licence
