Our client, a reputable independent commercial vehicle workshop in Amersham, is looking to recruit a skilled HGV Technician to join their dedicated team.

Duties of a HGV Technician:

- Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently

- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections in line with industry standards

- Ensure all work complies with legal and company requirements

- Maintain accurate documentation of all service and repairs

- Provide technical advice and excellent customer service

- Support team with technical issues as needed

Requirements of a HGV Technician:

- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role

- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

- Strong diagnostic and repair skills specific to heavy vehicles

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Valid HGV licence is desirable but not essential
