Summary

We are looking for a motivated Band 5 Cath Lab Nurse to join our specialist cardiac rhythm management team in Barnet Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to develop advanced skills in a high‑tech EP environment while delivering safe, compassionate care to our patients.

As part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will take part on a wide range of electrophysiology procedures, including EP studies and cardiac ablations, cardioversions, loop recorder insertions, device implantation for pacemakers, ICDs, and other innovative device therapies such as CRTs, and subcutaneous ICD implantation.

You will support all stages of the patient journey, including preparation, intra‑procedural monitoring, sedation support, and post‑procedure recovery.

Our unit comprises cath lab area and a 6 bedded dedicated recovery area, and runs Monday to Friday.

Applicants will ideally have 6 months post-registration experience in cardiology or acute settings, as well as excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This role offers structured training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to build up your confidence and improve your knowledge in areas such as rhythm interpretation, radiation safety, and acute cardiac care.
