We're looking for two Business Process Partners to join our Process Services team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You'll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of 'co-operating to build more value for our member-owners every day'.

In this role, you'll play a key role in helping us get the very best from our SAP S/4HANA platform. Working alongside Finance teams, senior leaders, and technical experts, you'll connect people, processes, and technology to make sure the way we work is efficient, effective, and fit for the future.

You'll spot opportunities to improve how things are done, bring the right people together to solve problems and help shape the future direction of our finance processes. Whether you're supporting business priorities, influencing change programmes or helping colleagues adopt new ways of working, you'll have the chance to make a real difference across Co-op.

Why this role matters

By improving our finance processes and helping teams get the most from our SAP solutions, you'll help make everyday work simpler, smarter, and more connected. Your work will support better decision-making, drive continuous improvement and help us deliver the transformation needed to achieve our Co-op vision.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Finance, Process Services, and technical colleagues to improve end-to-end finance processes within SAP S/4 HANA
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, helping to shape priorities and influence decisions
  • Attend governance forums and planning sessions to understand future direction, potential requirements, and wider sources of change from other programmes
  • Work with experts, analysts, and technical specialists to deliver process improvements that make a real impact
  • Represent Process Services on transformation programmes, helping to shape process and solution design
  • Use data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement, manage risks, and drive continuous optimisation
  • Support the development of training and guidance that helps colleagues get the most from our systems and processes
  • Identify risks and issues and own the delivery of solutions to these

What you'll bring

We're committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you'll need to bring:

  • Experience working in a finance environment
  • A good understanding of end-to-end finance processes
  • The ability to build positive relationships and guide colleagues through business changes
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to adapt to technical and non-technical audiences
  • The ability to influence and challenge people inclusively to solve problems and deliver improvements

Why Co-op?

At Co-op, we're owned by our members. And because we're owned by you, we can do right by you. So when you join us, you're not just taking a job, you're joining a movement. We're an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we're powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you'll also receive:

  • Private healthcare
  • An annual incentive scheme (based on business and personal performance)
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • 30% discount on Co-op products and 10% off other brands
  • Stream - early access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
  • Virtual healthcare including GP appointments, mental health support, nutrition and fitness advice
  • 24/7 colleague support service
  • Training and support for your development and career progression
  • Cycle-to-work scheme

A place you'll belong

We're building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve. We welcome applications from everyone, and our support centre is an inclusive environment where all our colleagues can thrive.

If you have a disability, we'll make reasonable adjustments to support you through the recruitment process. We're also proud to be part of the Disability Confident scheme - if you're disabled and you meet the minimum criteria for this job, we'll guarantee you an interview.
