We are recruiting an experienced
Resident Liaison Officer to support residents throughout planned maintenance and refurbishment works across Hertfordshire.
The role will involve working closely with residents, site teams, project management and clients to ensure effective communication and high standards of customer care throughout the delivery programme.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents.
Act as a key point of contact throughout planned works.
Explain works, programme timescales and access requirements.
Coordinate property access and resident appointments.
Carry out regular resident visits.
Respond to questions, concerns and complaints.
Work with operational teams to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records using business systems.
Identify vulnerable residents and additional support requirements.
Support resident meetings and community engagement.
Assist with social value and community activities.
Produce relevant customer care information and KPI data.
Ensure residents are kept informed throughout the programme.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in resident liaison, customer service, housing, construction or a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Confident dealing with residents face-to-face.
Ability to handle complaints and sensitive situations.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Good IT skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
Social housing experience.
Planned maintenance or refurbishment experience.
Experience working in occupied properties.
Construction or retrofit experience.
Experience supporting vulnerable residents.
Community engagement or social value experience.
