Summary

Handyperson / Multi-Skilled TradespersonYour New CompanyA well-established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Handyperson / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join their growing team. Working across a variety of commercial, residential and refurbishment construction projects, you will support site teams by carrying out a range of finishing, snagging and general trades duties to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.

Your New RoleAs a Handyperson / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of construction and finishing works on active building sites. Duties will include:

Carrying out general snagging and finishing works

Basic carpentry, patch plastering and painting tasks

Installing fixtures, fittings and ironmongery

Making good following the first and second fix installations

Minor repairs to walls, ceilings and building fabric

Assisting site management with project completion works

Ensuring work areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition

Supporting the delivery of projects to programme and quality standards

Working closely with site managers, subcontractors and other trades

Adhering to all site health and safety procedures

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Handyperson, Multi-Trader or Multi-Skilled tradesperson within the construction industry

Strong all-round trade skills with experience in carpentry, decorating, plaster patching and general building works

Experience carrying out snagging and finishing works on construction projects

Ability to work independently and read site instructions effectively

A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail

Valid CSCS Card

Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

Strong commitment to health and safety on site
