As a

Nightshift Intensive Support Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in making this experience consistent and reassuring through the night - ensuring children feel safe, settled and supported.

Working three nightshifts over a 7-day rota, you’ll provide person-centred overnight support to children and young people with a range of complex needs. We are offering part time contracts 22 or 33 hours per week. Paying an houlry

enhanced rate of £16 between midnight and 7am. Hourly day rate is £15.02 per hour.

This includes:

Creating a warm, calm and homely environment overnight

Supporting children with medical, personal care and wellbeing needs

Responding sensitively to anxieties or distressed behaviours during the night

Monitoring wellbeing and promoting rest and comfort

Recording information clearly and respectfully

Have the skills and qualifications to support children and young people in care, residential or community settings

Take a trauma-informed, person-centred approach

Are calm, patient and confident supporting during quieter, more vulnerable time

Can work collectively and collaboratively with other staff on nightshift

Are committed to delivering consistent, high-quality care
