Area Planning Manager needed in Shropshire

This is a temporary role and the rate is £360 per day PAYE

The successful candidate will operate confidently at a senior level, leading complex planning casework and driving high‑quality, timely decision‑making across their area. They will provide authoritative professional advice on major proposals, guide and support a multidisciplinary team, and ensure robust governance, clear communication, and strong relationships with applicants, Members, stakeholders, and partner organisations. They will manage resources effectively, oversee performance against local and national targets, and contribute to strategic projects while championing service improvement, innovation, and a customer‑focused approach.
