Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced
Oxy Propane Scrap Burner to join a demolition contractor on a long-term project in
Luton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
scrap burner, demolition burner or oxy burner with the relevant qualifications and site experience to secure ongoing work with a respected contractor.
What We Offer

Up to £22 per hour, depending on experience.
7am-5pm shifts.
50 hours per week.
Key Duties
- Cut and process scrap metal safely using oxy-propane equipment.
- Operate an oxy-propane burning gun in line with site procedures.
- Work safely within a demolition, scrap or recycling environment.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
- Maintain equipment and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Work effectively as part of a wider site team.
Requirements
- Proven experience cutting
- Valid
- Previous experience as a
- CCDO qualification desirable.
- Previous experience within demolition, scrap or recycling environments.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent references available.
