The Best Connection are working in partnership with a leading logistics company to find experienced Warehouse Operatives / FLT Drivers based at
Derby.
Shift: Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-16:30
Pay: £13.50 p/h
Location: Derby, DE21 4AY
Duration: Temp to Perm!
Requirements of a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver:
- Have a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Have a valid Reach Truck Licence
- Have previous warehouse experience
- Have experience operating forklifts in a busy warehouse environment
- Have good computer skills and be confident using email and warehouse systems
- Have good communication skills, with the ability to deal with suppliers and customers by phone and email
- Have excellent attention to detail and a reliable, organised approach
- Have a strong understanding of warehouse health and safety
Role of a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Goods in and goods out operations
- Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts
- Carrying out quality control checks on incoming and outgoing stock
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and maintaining general warehouse organisation
- Completing warehouse paperwork accurately
- Booking in deliveries and collections
- Assisting with delivery documentation and dispatch notes
- Assisting with stock counts and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse housekeeping and safety
- Supporting day-to-day warehouse administration and operations as required
- Communicating with suppliers and customers via telephone and email
- Supporting warehouse compliance processes and maintaining high operational standards
