Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term temporary, Temp to Perm
Long Term Futures is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Walsall (WS1). You will support primary-aged pupils with Autism, ADHD and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SALCN).
Working across 1:1 and small-group interventions, you'll help pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence and independence.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group SEN support.
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD and SALCN.
- Adapt classroom activities to individual needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Support communication, social skills and independence.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO.
You'll need:
- A Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Previous experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN.
- Experience with Autism, ADHD or SALCN is highly desirable.
- A patient, positive and consistent approach.
