Summary

Access Control & Surveillance

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.

• Operate security surveillance systems, including CCTV, to monitor activities within and around the corporate site.

• Conduct regular security patrols to identify potential risks or hazards and respond to incidents appropriately.

Customer Service & Communication

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security protocols.

• Act as a point of contact for visitors, contractors, and employees, offering assistance while ensuring security measures are followed.

• Liaise with management and emergency services in the event of an incident or emergency.

Incident Response & Emergency Procedures

• Respond promptly and efficiently to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances.

• Implement and follow the company’s emergency protocols in the event of fire, medical emergencies, or security threats.

• Assist with evacuations and coordinate with relevant authorities during emergency situations.

Patrolling & Risk Prevention

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols around the premises, checking for any security breaches, hazards, or suspicious activities.

• Identify and report any risks or vulnerabilities to the Security Team Leader and take appropriate action to mitigate potential threats.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

• Complete daily activity logs and shift handover reports to ensure seamless communication between shifts.

• Write incident reports and provide written statements when required.

Compliance & Policies

• Ensure adherence to all security policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

• Stay up to date with any changes in company security policies or legislation that may affect operations.

• Assist with regular security audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and management to maintain a safe and secure environment.

• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to keep up with the latest security procedures and best practices.
