Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Senior Vehicle Technician at a well-established dealership in Gravesend. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Senior Vehicle Technicians seeking to advance their automotive career within a reputable and busy franchise environment. The successful Senior Vehicle Technician will join a supportive team committed to delivering exceptional customer service and technical excellence.

Duties:

- Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards

- Carry out routine maintenance, including servicing and safety checks

- Complete accurate documentation of work performed

- Support the workshop team to meet productivity and customer satisfaction targets as a Senior Vehicle Technician

- Ensure warranty and safety procedures are followed diligently

- Achieve Master Technician accreditation with the franchise

- Provide excellent customer service and technical support in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Minimum of three years’ experience working in a dealership or reputable garage

- Full UK driving licence

- MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential)

- Strong communication skills in English

- Proactive with attention to detail and customer-focused approach

- Previous experience as a Senior or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician is desirable

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a mechanical workshop setting
