Join Our Team as an Investments & Stewardship Officer in the Investment Team (Grade 13)
Location: Matlock, Derbyshire / Hybrid Working
Working Time: Full‑time (37 hours)
Derbyshire Pension Fund is looking for an enthusiastic, committed individuals to join our investments team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), managing investment assets of +£7.5bn on behalf of close to 100,000 members and +400 employers. As an Investment & Stewardship Officer you will help to shape Derbyshire Pension Fund’s investment strategy across multiple asset classes, contribute to Derbyshire Pension Fund’s participation in the LGPS Central Pool and to the oversight of our pooling company, LGPS Central Limited, aiming to ensure that it can supports the delivery of the Fund’s strategic investment and responsible investment objectives, and contribute to the Fund’s accounting and strategic governance responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Current knowledge and understanding of economics, investment markets and investment related stewardship activities
- Experience of analysing and communicating complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders
- Experiencing of developing strategies to deliver organisational objectives
- Strong numerical skills and excellent accuracy
- A proactive approach and strong organisational skills
- The ability to work independently
- Experience of partnership working across professional and organisational boundaries and of developing positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Great communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
