TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist Primary EBD School in the Rhondda, dedicated to supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential through positive relationships, consistency and high-quality teaching.

The school is looking to appoint a Teacher on a temporary basis from September, with the role expected to continue until at least Christmas. The successful Teacher will work with primary-aged pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), delivering engaging lessons, promoting positive behaviour strategies and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs within the classroom.

The successful Teacher will have:

• QTS or PCET with experience teaching in a primary setting

• Experience working with children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or pupils displaying challenging behaviour

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• A patient, resilient and proactive approach to supporting young people

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
