Summary

In this role, your key responsibilities will include joining our nurse led service to deliver IV therapies (including biologic therapies) in an outpatient setting at SGH. The successful candidate will work in accordance with agreed policies to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients attending the service, ensuring patient safety at all stages of the patient journey and delivering an individualised plan of care for the patient group. The candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for high standards of care, show autonomy and responsibility of being part of a nurse led service, demonstrate importance of working closely as a team but also independently, and highlight their organisational and prioritisation skills. The service works Monday to Friday with no weekend or night working at the current time. The unit is based at Victoria House but often supports inpatient areas with some bespoke IV therapies. There is no option to work from home due to this being a patient facing role. There are clear opportunities for training and development within the service.
