Summary

A Vacancy at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Pain Management Service provides a multi-disciplinary approach to support patients with chronic pain. The services are provided by Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Physiotherapists and Psychologists to provide a broad range of therapeutic and holistic based services. The service is run using one to one appointment time, group seminars and procedures performed within the Day Procedure Unit or at Cromer Hospital. 

The clinic is currently based at Adelaide Street Health Centre and interviews will take place at Adelaide Street.

The admin team is comprised of Receptionists and Medical Secretaries who work closely together and support the clinical team in the delivery of high quality, patient-focused healthcare for the patients of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The post holder will be required provide an effective reception service to the Pain Management Clinic based within the Adelaide Street Health Centre. Working closely with colleagues the post-holder’s responsibilities will be to greet patients and check them in for clinic appointments, input outcome forms following patient appointments using PAS, create and collate medical records preparation and deal with complex patient queries involving the multi-disciplinary team. To ensure outpatient clinic appointments are booked with patients in line with target dates. 

The post holder will need to be patient-focused and a strong team player and able to multitask.
