The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support a major
retrofit scheme across Yorkshire.
Working across
Leeds, Chesterfield and Hull, you will act as the key point of contact between residents, contractors and the project team, ensuring residents are kept fully informed and supported throughout the works.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy retrofit programme, with the contract running through to
March 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the retrofit works.
- Build strong and positive relationships with residents, contractors and internal teams.
- Provide clear and regular communication regarding upcoming works, timescales and disruption.
- Arrange and attend resident meetings, visits and appointments.
- Explain the works being carried out and answer resident queries or concerns.
- Identify and support vulnerable residents throughout the programme.
- Manage complaints and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Liaise closely with site teams and contractors to ensure residents are kept up to date.
- Carry out regular resident visits and maintain accurate records.
- Distribute relevant project information, notices and communications.
- Monitor resident satisfaction and escalate any issues where required.
- Support the smooth delivery of the retrofit programme from a resident perspective.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a
- Experience within
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The confidence to engage with residents face-to-face and handle difficult conversations.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience supporting vulnerable residents would be advantageous.
- A proactive and approachable attitude.
- The ability to travel across
Resident Liaison Officer, Resident Engagement Officer or similar.
