Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective Math lessons across the relevant curriculum.

Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.

Deliver GCSE Math, Functional Skills Math and other relevant Math programmes.

Support students with their academic development and progression.

Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.

Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Use engaging teaching methods to develop students' mathematical knowledge and confidence.

Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.

Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience teaching

Math within an FE or Sixth Form setting.

Strong subject knowledge across Math and related areas.

A recognised teaching qualification.

A degree in Mathematics, Math Education or a relevant subject.

Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Math.

Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.

Ability to engage and motivate learners.

A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.
