Summary
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support operations in and around South Yorkshire
We have ad-hoc and full time work available in S75 and are currently expanding our client list to ensure you have work all year round!
Shifts are available **Monday to Sunday**, including weekends, with a range of start times available throughout the week.
## Pay Rates
### Monday to Friday
* **£17.25 per hour** – Starts between 4:00am and 1:00pm
* **£19.25 per hour** – Starts before 4:00am or after 1:00pm
### Saturday
* **£20.25 per hour**
### Sunday
* **£23.25 per hour**
## Shift Availability
* Ad hoc agency shifts
* Work available **Monday to Sunday**
* Immediate starts available
* Start times ranging from **3:00am to 10:30pm**
* Flexible shifts to suit your availability
* Opportunity for regular ongoing work
## The Role
As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while maintaining a professional service at all times.
Your duties will include:
* Delivering goods safely and on time
* Completing daily vehicle checks
* Completing delivery paperwork accurately
* Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations
* Maintaining excellent customer service standards
* Supporting depot operations when required
* Working safely and in line with company procedures
## Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A valid **HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence**
* Valid **Driver CPC qualification**
* Valid **Digital Tachograph Card**
* A good understanding of **Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations**
* Previous HGV driving experience preferred
* A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
* Good communication and customer service skills
