Summary
Our client, a highly regarded primary school in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of £31,650 to £45,352 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
As a Primary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and futures of our young learners. Based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that inspires and nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and social development of children aged 4 to 11.
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, and Creative Arts.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing timely feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to cater to individual learning needs.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practice.
- Maintaining accurate records and providing regular reports on student progress and behaviour.
- Adhering to the school's policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (BEd. ) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at the primary school level, preferably in a similar educational setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of children.
- Creativity and flexibility in adapting teaching methods to suit the diverse needs of your students.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
