Summary

We are representing a reputable franchised main car dealership in Exeter that is seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join their friendly and professional team. The Service Advisor role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to advance their career within a well-established automotive environment, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the dealership’s continued growth.

- Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00AM – 6:00PM, with only one in three Saturdays

Duties of the Service Advisor:

- Welcoming customers and discussing their vehicle service requirements

- Estimating repair costs and explaining work needed to customers

- Liaising effectively between customers and the workshop team to ensure smooth workflow

- Upselling additional services where appropriate

- Managing workshop bookings and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

- Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within a franchised dealership preferred

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

- Knowledge of automotive products and service procedures

- Friendly and professional attitude, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
