Summary

Staffline is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers in the Worksop area.

We are recruiting for a variety of roles including Day and Night Class 1 drivers.

Various start times available 7 Days a week, ongoing rota's available with immediate starts.

Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience required.

PAYE rates are as below:

Days Monday to Friday - £17.00 per hour

Nights Monday to Friday - £18.00 per hour

Trampers - £18.00 per hour

Saturday All Hours - £19.00 per hour

Sunday & Bank Holidays All Hours - £22.00 per hour

Night hours between 00:00 and 04:00am, if your shift crosses into night rate then you are paid Night rate for the entire shift.

Your Time at Work

Class 1 Trunk Drivers

- Completing trunking deliveries between DHL and customer locations

- Ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods

- Conducting vehicle checks and defect reporting

- Completing all relevant transport paperwork

All drivers will be expected to follow company procedures and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.

Our Perfect Worker

Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

- Minimum 6 Months experience required

- Good understanding of driver compliance and road safety regulations

- Reliable and flexible approach to work

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent customer service and influencing skills

- Able to work both as part of a team or unsupervised

- Have a flexible attitude towards tasks undertaken and at times, the hours of work

Desirable

- An understanding of Tachograph compliance and WTD

- Previous experience within a similar role

- CPC or O Licence knowledge
