You will be responsible for operating a telescopic forklift safely and efficiently while helping to maintain smooth movement of materials across the working area.Key responsibilities• Operate a telescopic forklift in line with site procedures and health and safety requirements• Load, unload and move materials safely and efficiently• Place materials in designated areas and support general site organisation• Complete routine equipment checks before use• Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively with colleagues• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly working environment• Report any equipment defects, hazards or operational issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Previous experience operating a telescopic forklift or telehandler• Relevant, in-date forklift or telehandler certification• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures• Strong awareness of surroundings and safe lifting practices• Reliable, punctual and able to work afternoon shifts• Good communication skills and a responsible approach to work• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamThis is a temporary opportunity offering competitive hourly pay of £13.00 to £15.00, depending on relevant experience and suitability for the role.Apply today.
