Its operations include automotive, commercial vehicle and leisure sectors, supported by logistics, branch and delivery networks.The roleWe are seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to support retail store deliveries from the Tamworth area. This temporary, day-shift opportunity is suited to a reliable and safety-focused driver who takes pride in delivering a professional service.Start times vary from 0400 am and the shifts are 10/12 hours long, store deliveries. You will be delivering and locking the stores after. This will be cages. Key responsibilities• Complete scheduled retail store deliveries safely and on time• Carry out required vehicle checks before and after each shift• Load, secure and transport goods in line with relevant procedures• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery where required• Communicate professionally with store contacts and report any issues promptly• Maintain high standards of road safety, vehicle care and customer serviceSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence• Experience carrying out retail store deliveries• Good knowledge of UK roads and route planning• Strong awareness of vehicle safety and load security• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• £19 to £27 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Opportunity visibility to local employersApply today.
