Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a
Project Support & Development Officer to provide comprehensive support to the
Access & School Places Programme Manager within an Education and Early Intervention department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Project Support Officer, Programme Support Officer, Project Coordinator or Project Administrator with strong organisational, analytical and communication skills to contribute to important
school capital investment, education estate and school place planning projects.
Working across the organisation and with a wide range of external stakeholders, you'll support the delivery of capital investment programmes, school improvement and reorganisation initiatives, data analysis and public consultations.
Key Duties
- Provide comprehensive project and programme support to the
- Support the delivery of the

- Collate, analyse and interpret data relating to
- Develop accurate reports and communications relating to the progress and delivery of school capital investment projects.
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of
- Prepare information and reports for senior managers and
- Maintain accurate project information and support effective reporting across programmes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Education and Early Intervention and other Council departments.
- Liaise with schools, parents, members of the public, Welsh Government officials, Dioceses, Church Authorities and other Local Authorities as required.
- Support the effective delivery of projects in line with organisational policies and procedures.

Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme and other grants relating to school capital investment.

Requirements
- Previous experience in
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent ability to
- Experience preparing reports, presentations or project communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and provide effective support to senior managers.
- Experience within
- Understanding of the importance of
