Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing engineering team at Micronclean.
Based primarily at our Louth, Lincolnshire site, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and continuous
improvement of our production equipment and facilities.

LOCATION: Based at Louth with occasional travel to Skegness
SALARY: £43,000 - £48,000 p.a. (dependent on experience)
JOB TYPE: Full-time

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, fault diagnosis, and
engineering support across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will help maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime, and
contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a varied and hands-on role that offers the opportunity to make a real
impact within a growing business.
As occasional travel between company sites is required, a full UK driving licence is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and facilities
* Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
* Accurately record maintenance activities within the Maintenance Management System (MMS)
* Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reliability
* Work collaboratively with production and operational teams to minimise downtime
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures and industry standards
* Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment where required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Essential:
* Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3/4, HNC, HND or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role involving both mechanical and electrical maintenance
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
* Mitsubishi PLC knowledge and experience
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification
* Experience with steam generation systems
