Production Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment?
We’re looking for an ambitious Production Supervisor to join a
fast-growing, BRC-accredited food manufacturer in Tiverton.
This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you’ll have real influence over
people, performance, quality and continuous improvement — with the support and progression opportunities that come with a growing business.
WHY THIS ROLE?
You won’t simply be managing a production line.
You’ll be
leading people, improving processes and driving performance, helping the business deliver safely, efficiently and consistently as it continues to grow.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and coordinate
daily, weekly and seasonal production
• Lead production teams to deliver
KPIs, targets and customer requirements
• Drive
continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
• Ensure food safety, quality and compliance remain non-negotiable
• Maintain
BRC audit readiness and site standards
• Work closely with Warehouse, Technical and other departments
• Coach, motivate and develop production teams
• Identify performance issues and implement practical solutions
• Ensure all
Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Create a positive culture focused on
quality, accountability and teamwork
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’re looking for someone who combines
strong leadership with a hands-on approach.
You’ll ideally have:
• Previous supervisory or management experience in
food, drink or FMCG manufacturing
• Experience working within a
BRC / audited manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production planning, KPIs and operational performance
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• A hands-on leadership style with a passion for
coaching and developing teams
• Good knowledge of
Health & Safety
• Experience with
Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
• The ability to stay calm, organised and decisive under pressure
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Join a business that’s growing — and grow with it.
•
£30,000–£35,000 DOE
• Monday–Friday
day shifts
• Management bonus scheme
• Annual salary review
• Free on-site parking
• Free company products
• Long-term career progression
• Opportunity to make a genuine impact within a growing food manufacturer
