Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and confident Home Care Worker with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care. You will be working 37.5 hours a week on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will involve making a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals within their own homes, ensuring they receive the high-quality support they deserve. Most of our service users are elderly people, but we also support younger people, some of whom may have learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.
MAIN DUTIES OF OUR HOME CARE WORKER

o Personal Care: Assisting clients with daily living tasks, including getting up/going to bed, washing, showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.
o Well-being Support: Preparing nutritious food and drinks, administering medication safely at the agreed level of support, and undertaking light household domestic duties.
o Companionship & Independence: Actively talking and listening to clients, promoting their independence, and helping them maintain vital connections with family, friends, and the wider community.
o Recording & Reporting: Maintaining accurate, detailed care logs and medication records, and promptly reporting any health, safety, or safeguarding concerns to management.

Only if you are presently sponsored, or your require sponsorship to work in the UK, the following requirements apply:
o A Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is available for the successful candidate, conditional upon:
o A valid right to work in the UK and meeting UK Home Office visa criteria.
o Passing all internal recruitment checks, including a minimum of two references from previous employers.
Otherwise we welcome candidates without prior experience or qualification.
PERSON SPECIFICATION FOR HOME CARE WORKER
Essential Qualifications & Experience
o At least 1 year of experience working within a home care (domiciliary care) setting.
o Possession of core care skills relating to home care, including professional English literacy, numeracy, and digital proficiency for record-keeping.
o Willingness to undertake and complete the standards required for the Care Certificate and any statutory training provided by the company.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE WORKER
o A full UK driving licence (issued by the DVLA) and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between clients.
