Summary

A Vacancy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support and lead a team in the clinical area of Stroke. This is a secondment or fixed term role to cover a maternity leave.

You will manage your own and support others with complex caseloads in both Acute Stroke and Stroke Rehab

The role involves close working with the MDT as well as divisional Senior Leaders. There will also be close working with senior leadership in Occupational Therapy.

The Occupational Therapy department offers opportunities to take part in training opportunities and innovation in an ever changing environment.

There are ample leadership development opportunities. You will supervise and appraise members of the team and support the development of junior staff.

You will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with highly developed clinical skills in stroke services. You will have a lead role in initiating, planning, implementing and leading the service developments in the Stroke Occupational Therapy Team on a day-to-day basis.

You will provide occupational therapy to patients working autonomously and without direct supervision. You will ensure safe and effective delivery of occupational therapy and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary and agency teams and the Professional Lead and Operational Manager in Occupational Therapy.
