Are you an experienced practical, hands-on individual looking to make a difference in a vibrant secondary school? Bourne Community College is seeking a proactiveWhole School Technician (Design Technology)to join our dedicated staff team.
As our Whole School Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning by preparing and maintaining equipment, resources, and workspaces with the majority of time spent in the Design Technology and Engineering department. You will assist staff and students in practical sessions, carry out routine maintenance and repairs, and ensure all areas are safe, tidy, and ready for use. You will prepare materials and resources for practical lessons in Design Technology and Engineering. You will be working across different subject areas under the direction of the Director of the Technology Faculty. There will be some preparation of resources for the Art Department as well.
This is a permanent post required for September/October 2026.
Salary – NJC Grade 4 Points 5-6 £25583 - £25989 p.a. pro rata 37 hours per week, term time only plus Inset Days
