Summary

We are representing a well-established, family-run automotive business in Billingshurst, currently seeking a dedicated MOT Tester to join their reputable team. This MOT Tester role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a trusted, customer-focused environment, performing MOT tests on a variety of vehicles.

Duties of an MOT Tester:

- Conduct MOT tests on a wide range of vehicles in accordance with VOSA standards and government regulations

- Maintain strict adherence to MOT testing standards to ensure customer trust and regulatory compliance

- Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver high-quality service in line with company standards

- Support junior staff and apprentices by sharing technical expertise and guidance as required

- Ensure vehicle safety, roadworthiness, and compliance through diligent testing procedures

Requirements of an MOT Tester:

- Valid MOT Smart card and qualified MOT Tester certification

- Proven experience in conducting MOT tests with a strong understanding of VOSA and government standards

- Demonstrable commitment to high standards of workmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for automotive technology
