Summary

Service Advisor – Cambridge

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor or Automotive Service Advisor to join a busy main dealership in Cambridge. Applicants must have at least 2 years' main dealership Service Advisor experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Cambridge

Salary: Circa £32,000 basic depending on experience

OTE: £40,000+ uncapped

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am–2:00pm (47 hours average)

Service Advisor Role

- Manage customers throughout the vehicle service and repair process

- Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate appointments

- Keep customers updated on repair progress, costs and completion times

- Liaise with Vehicle Technicians and the Workshop Controller

- Explain and recommend additional maintenance and repair work

- Maintain accurate customer, vehicle and workshop records

- Deliver excellent customer service while achieving Aftersales targets

Service Advisor Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' main dealership Service Advisor experience

- Previous experience within an automotive Aftersales department

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Good organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Right to work in the UK
