Summary

Participate in the maintenance of laboratory equipment, according to standard protocols. Report any equipment faults to senior BMS staff. To file and retrieve, when required, laboratory request forms, blocks and slides. To perform basic stock control duties and take appropriate action. To work as part of a team. To work in specimen reception and cut-up, the main laboratory, immunohistochemistry and digital scanning areas on rotation. To use the laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other Trust IT platforms Please note that this advertised position, which is part of occupation code 3111 does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa (this includes if you are already in a sponsored post and looking to change employer).
