The Role
We are seeking skilled, proactive and enthusiastic Casual Technical Assistants to join our team. This role supports the successful delivery of a diverse programme of performances and events. As a Casual Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of venue equipment, along with setup and breakdown of events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of room and stage setups, excellent problem-solving skills and a basic understanding of technical equipment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have some experience in theatrical sound and lighting, as well as experience in get ins and outs for productions and events, with a strong understanding of the basics of theatre practices. You will possess excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to work effectively with colleagues, visiting companies and clients to drive a varied programme of events and productions, including our yearly pantomimes.
You will be able to prioritise workloads, solve problems under pressure and contribute to the successful delivery of a varied programme of events.
Above all, you will be passionate about live events, committed to delivering high-quality experiences, and flexible in your approach to supporting the needs of a busy and dynamic venue.
The Albert Halls is a busy and dynamic entertainment venue, hosting a range of performances and events throughout the year. As part of a multi-skilled technical team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of productions and events.
