An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing international organisation operating within the environmental services, recycling and resource recovery sector.Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the financial reporting and performance of a European manufacturing operation. This role offers a broad remit spanning month-end reporting, statutory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, audit support and business partnering with operational stakeholders.

Your new role

Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts and statutory reporting.

Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.

Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with local accounting and tax requirements.

Inventory, stock and fixed asset accounting.

Financial analysis and performance reporting to support business decision-making.

Business partnering with operational and senior management teams.

Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and controls

What you'll need to succeed

ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, or nearing completion.

Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.

Background within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, chemicals, automotive or similar operational environments.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into commercial insight.

Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced business.

German GAAP (HGB)

Knowledge of international accounting environments would be advantageous
