This is a day-shift role suited to a reliable professional who is comfortable working as a tramper and completing deliveries safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with legal and company requirements• Complete planned deliveries and collections across allocated routes• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each journey• Secure loads safely and report any defects or delivery issues• Complete paperwork and delivery records accurately• Maintain professional communication with customers, colleagues and transport teams• Follow health and safety procedures, including drivers’ hours and tachograph regulationsSkills and qualifications• HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E• Valid Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous experience in HGV Class 1 driving• Tramper experience or a willingness to undertake overnight work when required• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours, vehicle checks and load security• Reliable, safety-conscious and punctual approach• Good communication and organisational skillsBenefits• £17 per hour• Permanent employment• Day shifts• Paid every Wednesday• Modern fleet and equipment• Training and ongoing supportAbout the companyThis UK transport business operates in road haulage and provides logistics, warehousing and vehicle maintenance services.
