This is a permanent, daytime position suited to someone who enjoys practical, active work and being part of a team.About the roleAs a Loader, you will support the collection and handling of waste and recyclable materials. Your responsibilities will include loading vehicles safely and efficiently, working closely with colleagues, following agreed routes and procedures, and maintaining high standards of health and safety throughout the working day.You may also be required to:• Work outdoors in changing weather conditions• Carry out manual handling and other physical duties• Follow instructions from supervisors and drivers• Help ensure vehicles and work areas are kept safe and orderly• Provide a professional service when working in the local communityAbout the companyThe employer operates in resource and waste management, supporting the efficient and sustainable handling of materials.
