Summary

Class 1 Driver - Temp to Perm - Immediate start

The Best Connection Group Ltd are recruiting professional and reliable

Class 1 Drivers to join a well established company based in Stoke-On-Trent, predominantly carrying out trunking work. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering consistent, structured work.

Shift details:

Start time is

5am

Monday to Friday

Overtime opportunities available - after 8 hours pay increases

from £16 to £24

Daily Trunking (x2 runs) between Stoke and Huthwaite

Curtainsider work - driver must be comfortable strapping and unstrapping loads.

Drop and swap trailer operations

Will be required to provide

holiday cover on night shifts when necessary.

You will be responsible for:

- carrying out safe and efficient trunk runs

- completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining paperwork

- communicating professionally with transport teams and site staff

- ensuring compliance with all road transport and working time regulations

Requirements:

- Full UK Class 1 Licence (C+E)

- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph

- Previous Trunking or general haulage experience preferred
