Computer Science Teacher & IT Integration Specialist, long-term temporary and ongoing, full-time starting September 2026

Duties as Computer Science Teacher:

Teach Computer Science and Digital Skills from Year 1 to Year 8
Deliver specialist Computer Science lessons to pupils in Years 5–8
Develop and deliver engaging lessons covering coding, programming, digital literacy, computational thinking, and online safety
Support teachers across the school in integrating technology into classroom learning
Promote innovative and effective use of educational technology
Help develop and enhance the Computer Science and IT curriculum
Inspire pupils to become confident and responsible users of technology
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong knowledge of Computer Science, ICT, and educational technology
Experience teaching primary and/or lower secondary age groups
Ability to teach coding and computational thinking across a range of age groups
Passion for technology-enhanced learning
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Creative and innovative approach to teaching
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
