Summary

Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and East District office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have HND/SVQ4 or equivalent in Construction/Building or related discipline.

Responsibilities

You will inspect and survey properties and develop, implement, and supervise reactive maintenance projects to improve and maintain the housing stock, ensuring optimum contribution of other Services, Agencies and Contractors.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Gas and Electrical Safety works.

The Individual

You will have experience with repairs and maintenance of buildings and experience of working directly with the public.

Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Office 365, Teams, Word, Excel along with good oral and written communication, customer care, problem solving and analytical skills are essential.

You will have the ability to plan and prioritise workloads, have budget monitoring and working in a team experience with the ability to work under pressure.

You will be able to attend evening meetings and have a current Driving Licence.
