Breakfast Club Assistant - Fixed term until 11/02/2027

Balgreen Primary School

Salary: £26,205 - £26,525 (pro rata for part-time and sessional)

Hours: 7.5hrs per week, 38 weeks sessional

An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Breakfast Club Assistant to support pupil groups at Balgreen Primary School's Breakfast Club.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, engaging,

caring, creative

and will preferably have some experience of working with children in a breakfast club or educational setting.

They will provide a healthy breakfast for the pupils, along with practical support and care to ensure pupils wellbeing and safety when attending breakfast club. They will also undertake routine breakfast club duties

working within established procedures

under the guidance of a supervisor. A genuine interest in the wellbeing and learning of children is essential

Balgreen Primary School sits in the heart of the local community. Our catchment draws families from diverse demographic backgrounds providing a vibrant and unique ethos of which we are proud. The school is led by a management team consisting of a Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, a PT and a Business Manager. There are thirteen classes led by a mix eighteen full time and part time class teachers, PE Teacher and a Support for Learning Teachers. Management and Teachers are all ably supported by a team of Pupil Support Assistants, a part time School Administrator and a clerical assistant and a Facilities Technician.
