You will be responsible for completing local deliveries safely and efficiently, while providing a reliable service and handling goods as required.Key responsibilities• Drive a car or van safely and responsibly• Complete multidrop deliveries, including routes with more than 10 drops• Load, unload and move items using handball techniques• Check delivery details and ensure goods are handled carefully• Communicate professionally with customers and delivery contacts• Follow agreed delivery procedures and road safety requirements• Complete basic vehicle and delivery checks where requiredSkills and qualifications• Experience with handball work• Experience completing multidrop deliveries, ideally involving more than 10 drops• A suitable, valid driving licence for the vehicle used• Good knowledge of safe driving practices• Reliable, organised and punctual approach• Good communication skills• Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule• Physically able to load, unload and move goods safelyBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersAbout the companyThe employer operates in the furniture sector and is based in Pontyclun, Mid Glamorgan.
