Summary

Customer Service Advisor

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a busy housing call centre team in Honiton. This temporary, part-time position offers 22.5 hours per week across three days, with flexible working arrangements available.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual who is a strong team player. The anticipated start date is 1 September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in delivering excellent customer service within a community-focused organisation.

Shift Patterns

Applicants must be able to work the following shift patterns:

Shift 1: 7:00am to 3:00pm

Shift 2: 3:00pm to 10:30pm

Key Duties

Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries.

Delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced call centre environment.

Accurately recording and updating information on internal systems.

Processing requests and maintaining detailed records.

Data entry and administration duties.

Working closely with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.

Requirements

Previous experience within a call centre or customer service environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong

Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Accurate and efficient

data entry experience.

Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure.

A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
