Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Electrical Maintenance Operative to support installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across various sites. The role involves working independently and collaboratively to deliver planned and remedial works on time, while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations. This is a static site based role.
š§ Key Responsibilities
-Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks.
-Must be able to undertake fabric tasks as directed by site.
-Complete all reactive and PPM tasks as instructed.
-Adhering to site H&S procedures and policies.
-Supervising and escorting of both Mitie and the customers subcontractors.
-Must be willing to carry out overtime Out of hours.
-Must be IT literate.
-Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders
-Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations
-Follow lockout/tagout proceduresāno live working permitted
-Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attend toolbox talks
Requirements
-Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations
-Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls
-Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures
-Self-motivated, well-organised, and eager to learn
-Respectful, professional, and confident in raising safety concerns
