THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates and supporting the repair process from initial assessment through to completion.

 

Key responsibilities include:

·Producing accurate estimates and invoices within agreed repair timescales

·Assessing vehicle damage and determining appropriate repair methods

·Managing repair costs and supporting site profitability

·Handling total loss assessments where required

·Reviewing repair methodologies to ensure appropriate repair processes are followed

·Ensuring all estimates and repairs comply with BS10125 standards

·Liaising with customers, insurers and internal teams throughout the repair process

·Identifying and reporting issues that could affect quality, costs or profitability

 

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:

·Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Vehicle Estimator or Automotive Estimator

·Strong technical knowledge of vehicle body and paint repair

·Experience producing accurate vehicle repair estimates

·Confident using Audatex and Glassmatix

·Experience with E-scribe, Ezi Methods and Glass's Evaluator desirable

·Audatex Gold training or equivalent experience

·ATA accreditation desirable, or willingness to achieve it

·Excellent organisational and time-management skills

·Strong attention to detail

·Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills

·Positive, solutions-focused attitude

·Ability to work effectively as part of a team
