THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring vehicles are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities include:

·Carrying out servicing and maintenance operations

·Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults

·Completing mechanical repairs and defined assembly operations

·Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship

·Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards

·Accurately documenting completed service and repair work

·Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required

·Providing technical support and advice where required

·Working effectively as part of a busy workshop team

ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

·NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

·Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry

·Strong technical and mechanical skills

·Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability

·Own tools and toolbox

·Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)

·Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)

·MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential

Alternative job titles may include: Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Car Mechanic.
