Electro Mechanical Assembler
Luton
4 months rolling contract - start ASAP
£15.00 per hour (PAYE) / £20.00 per hour (Ltd)
We are currently seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a busy production team.
Key Responsibilities as an Electro Mechanical Assembler
- Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and electronic schematics
- Assemble components and sub-assemblies in line with defined specifications
- Complete wiring and cable assembly work to a high standard
- Use hand tools, soldering equipment and general production tooling
- Ensure all work meets required quality and production standards
Skills & Experience Required as an Electro Mechanical Assembler
- Proven experience in an electronics or electro-mechanical assembly environment
- Strong soldering skills
- Previous experience with wiring and cable assemblies
- Familiarity with IPC standards or previous IPC training is highly advantageous
- Competent in using hand tools, soldering equipment and general production tooling
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and circuit diagrams
