Are you an experienced Carpentry professional looking to inspire the next generation of tradespeople? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Further Education provider in Wolverhampton for a

Carpentry Lecturer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an industry specialist or experienced lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and training to learners studying Carpentry and Joinery programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective Carpentry lessons to learners.

Support students in developing their practical skills, knowledge and industry awareness.

Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the curriculum area.

Essential Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Carpentry or a related discipline.

Strong industry experience within the Carpentry and Joinery sector.

Previous teaching, training or assessing experience is desirable.

A recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Certificate in Education or equivalent is desirable, or a willingness to work towards one where applicable.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
