Job Title: Senior Pharmacy Support Worker

As part of our team, you will be a friendly and hardworking individual ready to join our busy Homecare team as a Senior Pharmacy support worker within University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).

Homecare is a service that involves arranging medication and treatments to over 9640 patients in their home via 12 different Homecare providers.

We are a small but expanding team of 13 staff consisting of 2 Pharmacy Technicians, 1 Senior Officer, 2 Advanced Senior Pharmacy Support Workers, 5 Senior Pharmacy Support Workers, and 3 Pharmacy Support Workers. The department operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 17:30.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include raising purchase orders against Homecare prescriptions, receipting goods onto our system & also processing invoices for payment through our CMM computer system. Other duties include looking after homecare provider statements & co-ordinating the daily emails & queries. You will also be responsible for supervising & organising the team of pharmacy support workers.
